Following from a trip to Mexico, our original trio set about to create Mexican restaurants and bars in Singapore, starting with Lucha Loco on Duxton Hill in 2012 and then Super Loco Robertson Quay in 2014. Inspired by the delicious street food and fascinating culture experienced during their explorations, we now serve up contemporary Mexican, accompanied with quality agave Tequila in signature ambiance that can be found in each outlet. Yes, they do taste everything that gets into the menus!
In 2015, Australia's Celebrity chef Jason Jones officially join the trio and together the team has opened the much sort after Super Loco Customs House with its killer MBS view. Of course as per tradition, a trip to Mexico by the now four musketeers was made for inspiration and guidance.
Following this, The Loco Group hopes to expand 'Super Loco' into the region materialised as a steadfast partnership with The Union Group formed and launched Super Loco Jakarta in January 2017. You can spot these guys at the The Loco Group outlets, either helping the team with guests, behind the bar or kitchen creating or simply enjoy the Vibe that they have created with their amigos!
