What is the most rewarding part of your job with The Loco Group?
The most rewarding part of my job with The Loco Group is when I am with people who share similar values and work hard while keeping it fun. People who want to make a positive change in the workplace are the ones who inspire me. The people that do things not to feed their egos or exclusively bring a pay check, but to build a better place for everyone else to thrive in; this will be my source of inspiration.
What is something I would never guess about you?
I used to be a part-time yoga instructor before I became a mother to my two children.
What is your most unusual talent?
I have an unusual talent for tackling obstacles. I am pragmatic and practical, I believe on focusing in my strengths, but doing enough to make sure my weaknesses do not become my obstacles.
What's your favourite way to spend a day off?
My favourite way to spend my day off is keeping my kids occupied with fun and enriching tasks. This way Mummy also gets some quiet time, Haha! I also love to take them to new places where they can discover interesting things, make new friends and learn from new experiences.
If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Chocolate! If I cannot finish it all by myself, my two girls will most likely help me out.
Do you have any superstitions?
I believe in Murphy's Law, I prefer not to talk much about things “planned” or “in progress” before they actually become reality.
Could you share something random about yourself with us?
Reflecting on my career, I have not always given precedence to the next bigger and better paying job. Instead I focused on my current position by taking a deliberate and non-conventional route which allowed me to be exposed to many different cultures, countries and industries. I have learned and grown as a HR generalist, specialist and strategist sensitive to people issues across geographies.
